   Watercolour paper creates a canvas for this exposed long stitch journal as unique as your own fingerprint. The journal comes straight from your heart. Beginning with a single brush stroke and continuing through to the cover, the pages wait to receive your musings, drawings or paintings. The pages fold out, down, over and even have surprise pockets perfect for tucking in bits and pieces.

Marlene Pomeroy is a contemporary book artist with a calligraphy background.  A calligrapher for over 25 years, she began bookbinding studies in 2000. She creates and teaches out of her studio in Stratford ON. She studied intensively with teachers in the US, Canada, and Italy, completing Bookbinding I, II, and III with CBBAG under the instruction of Don Taylor, Dan Mezza and Monique Lallier. Her study in Italy was with Jim Bloxan of Cambridge University Library.  
    She facilitates open studios using intuitive creative methods and combines them with her love of books. In 2011 she was Folk Artist in Residence at the Joseph Schneider Haus in Kitchener ON
