Bound to be Flat

Instructor: Rose Newlove

Location: CBBAG Bindery (180 Shaw #102, Toronto)

Duration: 4 - half days, Tuesdays January 23 & 30, (skip Feb. 6), February 13 & 20

Hours: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Course Fee: $210 members / $270 non-members

Materials Fee: $30.00 payable to the instructor

Prerequisite: none


This workshop will explore simple binding structures that lie flat when open making then suitable for sketchbooks, journals, books that can incorporate inserts. 


Rose Newlove is a graduate of the Fleming College conservation program and works as a book and paper conservator in Toronto. She has studied bookbinding at CBBAG with Don Taylor and Betsy Palmer Eldridge and at the American Academy of Bookbinding with Don Etherington.
